How do I treat my hooded eyelids?
Many people are concerned with
excess skin around their eyes which is
often seen as an ageing and tired look.
Plasmage removes this excess skin and
treats hooded eyelids with a treatment
we call ‘Blefaroplasma®’.
Plasmage uses plasma energy to
remove excess tissue around the eye by
a process called sublimation, leaving the
patient with visibly tighter and
rejuvenated skin. The treatment should
take approximately 30 minutes and has
significantly less downtime than
traditional eyelid tightening surgery.
There will be some redness and swelling
for 2 days then mild scabbing which will
last 7-14 days after treatment.
Results can be immediately
visible after treatment, but you will have
a good result 8 weeks post treatment.
The optimum result occurs between 5
to 6 months after your treatment.
These results will last approximately
3 - 5 years.

How long does the treatment take?
Eye lid tightening should take around 30-60 minutes.

Does it hurt?
As the treatments are conducted by a medical professional with a prescribing qualification, use of either a topical anaesthetic or the injection of local anaesthetic may be used to minimise discomfort.
What is included in my treatment fee?
Your treatment includes a consultation, the treatment of choice and any aftercare follow-up as required. Further treatments are chargeable and discussed at consultation.
